EU Youth Dialogue in Finland

The EU Youth Dialogue promotes dialogue between young people, youth organisations, and decision-makers. The EU Youth Dialogue is a tool for the European Union to collect inputs from youth and to implement the EU youth strategy.

The EU Youth Dialogue aims to enhance communication between young people, youth organizations, and policymakers. Dialogues have been organised on various themes since 2010, and the information gathered from them is used in decision-making at all levels. The Youth Dialogue operates in 1.5-year cycles under the leadership of the EU presidency trio. It supports the implementation of the EU Youth Strategy 2019–2027.

Currently, the 11th cycle of the Youth Dialogue is underway, with Poland, Denmark, and Cyprus serving as the presidency countries. They have chosen the common theme of connecting EU with youth.

In Finland, Nuorisoala ry is responsible for implementing the Youth Dialogue. The FYCS International committee serves as the national working group of the EU Youth Dialogue.
